Section 51
Dispute Resolution
(1) If any dispute arises between investors or related industries or authorities, the related parties shall resolve such disputes through mutual discussion at the Ministry's office.
(2) If the dispute cannot be resolved in accordance with sub-section (1), it shall be resolved by arbitration in accordance with the prevailing arbitration rules of the United Nations Federal Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
(3) The arbitration shall be held in Kathmandu and the law of Nepal shall apply to the arbitration.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-sections (1), (2) and (3), disputes arising in relation to foreign investment in industries with investments as specified may be resolved as specified in the foreign investment agreement.
